Assistant Principal - J'Anzia Bell-Cook

Greetings Bishop Elementary Parents and Community! My name is J'Anzia Bell-Cook. I have served as an educator for 19 years as an elementary school teacher, an Early Learning Instructional Specialist and Coach and now as an Assistant Principal. I believe that building relationships is the key to fostering a love of lifelong learning in our students.
 
I am a wife and a mom. I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy trying out new restaurants and traveling. I am a huge lover of historical fiction books.
 
I have a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Teacher Leadership from Walden University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!!). My goal is to see our students excel and become productive human beings who have ample opportunity to become whatever they want to be when they grow up. It is my privilege to collaboratively lead a campus that exemplifies continuous improvement and embodies a positive culture where everyone works together to support the social emotional and academic success of all students. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community and I am excited about the opportunity to transform the lives of our students here at Bishop Elementary.
