Bishop Elementary School

With 28 years in education and 25 years of dedicated service in Everman ISD, I am honored to serve as the proud principal of Bishop Elementary. Over the course of my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and for the past four years, as principal. Of those 25 years in Everman ISD, 21 have been right here at Bishop Elementary, my home away from home. Being a Bishop Bulldog is more than a title; it’s a part of who I am.

In addition to 25 years in Everman ISD, I spent three years in Aledo ISD gaining insightful teaching experience. The knowledge, relationships, and leadership skills I have developed over nearly three decades have equipped me to lead with confidence, compassion, and commitment.

That dedication to hard work and service is rooted in my upbringing. I was raised on a small farm in western Oklahoma, where values like responsibility, honesty, and perseverance were instilled in me from a young age. These principles continue to guide my work and decisions as an educational leader. I’ve been married to my husband, David, for 28 years, and we have a son, Zac, and a daughter-in-law, Amalia. As a family, we enjoy four-wheeling, watching movies, and traveling together
