I am honored to serve as the principal of Bishop Elementary. This is my 29th year in education and my 26th year in Everman ISD. During my career, I have had the opportunity to serve as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and now principal. For the past five years, I have proudly led Bishop Elementary, a school that has truly become my second home. In fact, I have spent 22 of my 26 years in Everman right here at Bishop. Being a Bishop Bulldog is more than where I work; it's part of who I am.

I left Everman for a brief time. I spent three years teaching in Aledo ISD. Every role I've held has helped shape me as an educator and leader, and I strive each day to lead with care, integrity, and a strong commitment to doing what's best for students.

I grew up on a small farm in western Oklahoma, where I learned the value of hard work, responsibility, honesty, and treating others with respect. Those lessons still guide me every day. My husband, David, and I have been married for 29 years, and we have a son, Zac, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Amalia. As a family, we enjoy traveling, watching movies, and spending time outdoors together.

At Bishop Elementary, we believe school is about more than academics. It's about building relationships and creating a place where every child feels valued, safe, and supported. I am grateful to work alongside an amazing staff and partner with families who care so deeply about their children's success. Together, we will continue making Bishop Elementary a place where every student is encouraged to learn, grow, and achieve their very best.
